![]() Change it to Don’t Sort Messages and hit Save to disable it. You can follow this article to either move emails between the folders or disable Focus inbox. You can also disable the Focus inbox feature so that all emails show up in a unified inbox per say. By default this option is set to Sort messages in Focused and Other which means the feature is enable. Report abuse You can configure emails per sender to go into the Focus Inbox vs the Other Inbox. In the left-hand pane of the settings UI, under Mail and then the Layout subset there is an option for Focused Inbox, click / press that.If you’re using a desktop screen it’s in the top right corner, in the black bar near your name. Go to Settings (it’s the one with the cog icon).I love this, kudos to the MS UX team for allowing this □ What’s really handy though, is that although they don’t explicitly make a big deal out of it they allow you to turn it off. If you’re a Windows Mail user (i.e Hotmail and stuff), and I’m talking predominantly the those who use the Web interface for this, although the same may be true for the mobile / desktop app’s and / or Microsoft branded phones, you may have seen this new feature being rolled out called ‘Focused Mail’, which filters through your inbox and brings to your attention what it classes as important. I’m all for change, but sometimes I also like what I like and LOVE the gift of choice in life, especially when it comes to changes to my email interfaces.
